Premio Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio a laureato unibz
La tesi di Thomas Deola (laurea magistrale EMMA), ha ottenuto il premio del Centro studi Val di Sole. Tema: gli effetti della conservazione sulla vegetazione in due aree protette.
Thomas Deola, attualmente studente di dottorato in ecologia della vegetazione alpina a Bayreuth (dipartimento di Disturbance ecology and vegetation dynamic), si è diplomato nel corso di laurea magistrale EMMA (Environmental Management of Mountain Areas) con una tesi intitolata “Effects of nature conservation on scrub vegetation in two biogeographically contrasting protected areas” (relatore il Prof. Gianmaria Bonari, correlatore Dr. Alessandro Bricca). Questo lavoro, collegato al progetto “BIOmen – Biodiversity in National Parks”, è stato recentemente premiato dal Centro Studi Val di Sole con il Premio Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio.

Summer school di studenti stranieri al museo di storia naturale della Maremma
Otto giorni di ”Summer school” in Maremma, da sabato 3 a sabato 10 settembre, in visita ai luoghi simbolo della conservazione della natura, ai paesaggi più caratteristici e alle strutture più efficienti. Tra queste, anche il Museo di storia naturale della Maremma di Fondazione Grosseto Cultura. È l’esperienza di un gruppo di 30 studenti universitari dell’Università di Hildesheim, provenienti da 9 Paesi e accompagnati dal docente Martin Sauerwein, impegnati nella Summer school ”Nature conservation, ecosystem restoration and ecosystem services in traditional cultural landscapes”
